Girl, You Thirsty?!

Some lifestyle changes can be so difficult to execute (i.e. getting into a workout routine, making the right food choices, or getting more sleep) but how easy is it to just to drink water!? It can make a world of difference to how you feel everyday.

Signs you might not be drinking enough water

  • Fatigue/exhaustion

  • Headaches

  • Sugar cravings

  • Decreased urination

  • Bad breath

  • Joint pain

  • Poor skin health

  • Foggy thinking/lack of focus

  • Feeling anxious

  • Constipation

"But if I drink more water, then I have to go to the bathroom more."

Guess what! That's how your body gets rid of toxins!

Not being properly hydrated can lead to a slew of different side effects, including: dry skin, feeling tired, decreased performance, confusion, poor digestion, and so much more!

  • Carry around a water bottle

  • Have a glass of water while you get your meal ready

  • Start the day with a full glass of water - on the days I miss it, I can tell I drink far less water throughout the day and I'm just not as thirsty

  • Find some fun additions to your water - like cucumbers, lemon, or mint

  • Snack on hydrating foods - watermelon, cucumbers, cantaloupe, celery, or strawberries

Drink multiple cups of coffee everyday? Try having one full glass of water between each cup of coffee. Avoid drinking too much at meal times because it can dilute your stomach acid, hindering digestion. Goal in ounces = body weight in lbs/2 Add 10-15 ounces/hour of exercise Now drink up!
